Thank you for being part of the worship assistant team.  The procedures for serving communion have changed in the past few months.  The main changes from the prior process are as follows:

• Worship assistants come forward down the side aisles.
• If you are serving wine (cup), you need to know if you are serving on the East (baptismal) or West (praise band) side.
• Worship assistants never go up the three steps to the altar.  Only Pastor does so to consecrate the elements.
• Worship assistants take communion last, after the congregation has been served.
